Lion King

OMG It was AMAZING! The music (hehe yeah, it was a musical so there was music), and the acting and the costumes and everything was just great! Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any pictures during the show, but watch the video I posted a week ago! It was like that at the show!

Today one of the girls in my class had an argument with the teacher... She doesn't like him and he thinks she's rude, so not a very good match. I don't like the tension, the conflict. It makes me tense and it's awkward. Well well, she's going to change class so it'll all work out fine.

Finally London

So I've finally seen the two big B's in London (Buckingham and Ben). Visited Madame Tussauds as well, it was... okay I guess, but I don't think I'll go there again.

The weather was great and I even got a bit of a sunburn on my nose!

Hello summer!

Yesterday was like the first day of summer! Wonderful! We all walked along the beach to Rottingdean and had a Cream Tea. Though along the way me and Cam decided to "test the water"...

 It's still a bit too cold to take a swim.

It was so warm that I didn't even need my jacket!

8 weeks and two days

It's crazy how fast time fly by! And I've just realised that I can't do everything I'd planned, I simply don't have the time. But that's good, because when I come here with my friends, I'll still get to experience new things! The Harry Potter tour is one of the things I'm saving. I want to go there, but with friends that share my  love for HP!

I'm going to Lion King in London, this is one of the things I've decided to make time for.

This weekend I'm planning to go to London, see a few things (like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, that sort of things). But we'll see how it goes, it seem like whenever I decide to go to London, the weather interferes and mess up my plans! However, they said on the radio this morning that spring is here, and that it'll be around ten degrees on saturday, and 21 next weekend! I cross my fingers and hope that they're not wrong! 

Hello sunshine!

Today has been great! The sun was shining this morning so after breakfast I sat outside, on the front porch, for about one hour! I brought my CAE exam practice book and finished the first reading part. So now I'm on my first writing part. We'll see how it goes... hopefully the other parts will weigh up for any mistakes I make in writing!

I talked to Maria today, and tonight I'll skype with Maja! Can't believe that it's only nine more weeks and then I'll see them (IRL) again!!

Cam's not feeling very well today, so after I finished my reading part, we watched Ice Age. "Den är grön och de stack för två timmar sedan" isn't as fun in English, I can tell you this!

My new (and last) roommate

Cam has moved upstairs now (to my room), and she'll stay here until the end of my time here! We're much alike, her and me! We go to bed around the same time, and we both know that we need some space for ourselves.

Woke up at half past 6 with stomach pains. This time they lasted for 3 hours and it didn't matter that I took 3 painkillers (naproxen, the strongest one in the pharmacy in Sweden). Nothing helped. Around half past 9 the pains finally ceased and I fell asleep again, and slept until 12. The rest of the day, I just went around in my slippers, watched series and ate chocolate. I really had a lazy day! But tomorrow will be different, I'm going into town to buy some stuff, send a mystery package to Sweden, and maybe book a train ticket to London for Sunday!

Summary of the week. Well, it's been the same as any other week really, nothing special to report. I went to a sushi restaurant on Monday, tried to get rid of my cold on Wednesday and the German girls left early early on Thursday morning. The German girls were... nice... but a bit strange. I couldn't imagine spending any more time with them than that, our personal chemistry didn't really match so to speak.

9 weeks left. Seems so strange. But at the same time, I'm really looking forward to going back. Seeing my friends, doing simple things with them like having tea, or watching a movie.

And my holiday home, I really miss my holiday home. This is the longest I've been away from there and I truly feel like it's a piece of my heart missing. I need the kind of re-charging I can only get from the High Coast... Buhu :/

Well well, only nine weeks to go!

New roommates

So, I have two new roommates, but just for 4 nights! Both from Germany and can you believe it, from Cologne! 45 min from where my grandmother lives :O They seem nice, both are 23 (so they're mature) and I think that my room is going to be pretty warm tonight, with three warm bodies, laptops and the heating! That's good though because I think I've caught a cold...

Look what I got from Mark, because it's  kind of an inconvenience for me with two other students in my room.
