Just a bit lost

For two days now, I've been feeling a bit lost. I've been bitter and mean (maybe it's all in my head but still, I don't feel like myself). And now, I realized what I need, what I'm earning for... Well well, I'll have to manage without this a while longer. But oh how I miss it, the freedom, the nature, the air... Everything.

Summary of the week

 Okay so here's a summary with pictures about last week.

Last Sunday, I went to Costa and studied a bit. I had a muffin and a Chai-latte (and my book!). It was a calm and cosy!

 LOOK!  It's like spring time here!!!

Yes, I loved the weather in the beginning of the week!

Me, Cam and the guys went out on Friday, and I really enjoyed myself! (I was home around half past 12 so it was definately my kind of evening)

Yesterday, I woke up to a decorated house, birthday presents and lovely cards! (Extra hugs and kisses to my Aunt and her family for a wonderful letter and a CAKE! :D This ended up being the only cake I had yesterday)

Look what turned up on my doorstep! My sweet family remembered my birthday on Sunday ^^  Wihooo I’m soon 20 and no longer a teenager!

Now I'm going to do some exercize with Camille and get rid of my back pains and get stronger muscles! Go Girl Power on International Women's Day!

Okay so now I'm kind of tired. Feels like every time I read DN, in an attempt to keep up with what’s happening in Sweden, I can either read about how girls are being discriminated and hated on the internet, or I can read about how SD gains more followers and that the polices job is no longer to catch the bad people and put them in jail, but rather catch whole families and through them out of the country.  What sort of world is this?!

Even here in England I can’t get away from these opinions. Just the other day my friend said; Yeah, well you girls can just sit there and look pretty and it’ll work out. He laughed (it was a joke) but still. I’ve been a bad feminist lately, and not stod up for what I believe in. Shame on me! No more of that now, time to get back to action!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

It's my grandmother’s birthday today! After a long walk with Woody (and a well needed shower) I skyped with her and waved to her guests. Now it's only one week and three days left until I go to Germany to see her!! I'll stay there for a week and enjoy her company, go long walks in the morning and eat abendessen (I have no idea how to spell that but it's basically an evening meal with open sandwiches, tea and lots of yummie stuff). And my grandmothers cooking, how I miss it!!! She makes a wonderful spaghetti Bolognese (mums!).

At the moment, I'm in bed, listening to spotify and eating dark chocolate.  I should do a bit of English practice but to my defence, this is some sort of practice... No but I've been working on an essay about a TED Talk I saw a couple of weeks ago (I know, I'm so slow!). The talk was about vulnerability, and the speaker was funny and inspiring (not at all like EF lectures). 

So that's my life right now. Nothing new and exciting really :)

Lunch today

Today, I woke up with stomach pains... Sometimes it's just lovely being a girl, isn't it? Fortunately I'm feeling better now, I had a shower and lunch. Yummie! Just a salad, nothing complicated but still, just amazing. Something has happened when you think that a normal salad looks like a file of beef, wedges and Bea... xD
